From Hospitality to Digital Strategy

Megan Roberts was born in Limerick City and now lives in Shannon, Co. Clare. Before moving into digital marketing, Megan Roberts spent several years working in hotel management, which gave her a grounding in customer experience, commercial operations and how businesses translate their offer to an audience.

That background shapes how Megan Roberts approaches SEO. I think about the person behind the search, the intent behind the query and what a brand needs to communicate to earn both attention and trust. I moved into digital marketing in 2021 and have worked across agency and in-house environments since.

In April 2025, Megan Roberts spoke on the main stage at brightonSEO on the subject of Humanistic SEO, presenting to an international audience of SEO professionals and marketers. It was a significant milestone and one I am proud to have reached independently.

Shopify SEO and eCommerce Growth

A significant part of my work is with Shopify stores looking to grow through organic search. I work on technical foundations, on-page optimisation, collection and product page strategy, internal linking and content, with a focus on sustainable traffic rather than short-term gains.

Megan Roberts is also a Shopify Partner, which means she have a working understanding of the platform beyond the marketing layer.
